Day 12

SO day 12 begins- It's going to be another fabulous day! (Ke2)

I skipped surfing this morning. The waves weren't that great and I want to give my shoulder a break. I refuse to get injured down here. Chris can't surf either and he is leaving on saturday and I'm SO sad. Who else is going to read Perez with me and talk about LA life and designers and greek life. I'm not excited for him to go. At all.
SO we are off to get breaky and then I am going to run some errands in town. Then I am going to the beach to read. I have yet to go to the beach to just enjoy the beach. So I'm really stoked. I have yoga tonight and then the going away bon fire. It will be sad that I don't have my camera because of video options but I think kicking it old school with a disposable will do just fine!
So off to breakfast.....

Soooo Chris and I went into town- I stopped off at the post office, and the ATM and the grocery store. I was trying to find breakfast bars for the early mornings before surf- but it was kinda tricky. Everything was in spanish so lets hope I did ok.
We then went to breaky at los Artistas ... I got the fruit platter which was unreal. Chris took a picture which I will steal as soon as he posts it. It had a whole quarter of a pineapple and a passion fruit and strawberries and banana's and apples and lime and papaya. Apparently lime is supposed to sweeten fruit. I don't like papaya so Chris ate mine. The passion fruit was really bitter- also not my fav. The strawberries and pineapple and banana's were SO good! Mirriam came and joined us and it was just such a beautiful day. Not too hot but not gross. It was gorgeous. Mirriam and Chris decided they were going to stay for lunch so I wondered on home.

I looked into the whole getting a camera to Costa Rica sitch. Apparently no on coming in was willing to play messenger with my camera :( which I guess is understandable but I would have done it for someone else. Anyway so Andrea said that what we could do is ship it to San Jose (the capitol of Costa Rica) and then have it shipped to the next town over with a post office. She said it would take about 2 days. So who knows .... we'll see.

I'm organizing a trip out to the Cabuya Rainforest animal refugee camp. It's where are the injured animals are taken for rehabilitation. You get to go and help out and play with the monkeys and what not. It would have been really nice to have a camera but you do what you can right. I'm thinking Sunday if it is open.

Sooo After I hung out for a bit I decided I was ready for lunch and walked into town. I went to Soda Naranja and got my trusty chicken salad. I also got my Guanabana smoothie- I'm sooo glad Alicia recommended it to me- It's just soo good. I grabbed a water and was going to head to the beach to read but then the clouds a came a rollin and I knew I needed to get back home before the rain came. I made it with in seconds. Go ME!

Right now I'm chilling in the hammock. I think I may go take a nap before yoga later. It's been a really chill day.

Nap was fabulous! Got up and went to yoga which was the absolute BEST. I was legit smiling the whole way through. My goal before I leave is to do a handstand, the crow and a headstand with out the wall. Tonight we did the camel which is one of my favorites. We also did a lot of partner work which is really effective and something I will use a lot when I'm a teacher. It was just fabulous! The mantra was LOVE and I LOVED the class! I saw Kristen on the way out with her boy toy- she is just soo cute. She opted to leave for her trip tomorrow. Lost the bros smos (I dont know some slang for rock paper scissors). I came up and took a shower and am getting ready to go out for a lot of people's final night. It makes me SO SAD.

I have been craving spaghetti and meatballs like it's my day job. 2 People make it that make my mouth water and they are in Canada and clearly inaccessible. My grandmother and one other person- (whom I really miss)! So my goal for the next few days is to find good old fashioned spaghetti and meatballs. Even meat sauce. I don't even care. Maybe I will make it for everyone tomorrow........... nah. The kitchen here is so raunchy its unreal. I won't even make cup o noodle in it. So... off to party and off to get some din din.
