19 Days and Counting

SO..... it's so close! I cannot wait! My parents are trying to talk me out of it now.. but it's too late! My dad & Claudette decided to do some investigative work and googled Costa Rica and the CIA... lol anyway they read about human trafficking and am afraid that I will easily be seduced by some hott trafficker! The sad part- they're right! I"M JUST KIDDING>... relax your buttons dad! You have nothing to worry about- I look like a man... hehe!

Still havn't practiced my spanish. I'm thinking "why not just wing it?" I mean I'm winging everything else! I mean I survived in Montreal thinking Neuf meant no, so I'm sure I'll be splendid!

I booked my charter in Costa Rica. So my flights are all set! Alex or Luis will be picking me up from the airport... according to my liaison at the retreat! I'm so stoked- I'm not even there and it sounds so exotic!

I've got a few things left to do... I have to get hiking shoes- (they are the ugliest things in life & I will not be caught dead wearing them...but they are a necessity apparently)! We all know my obsession with shoes... so of course I held out for the perfect pair! THey are super cute New Balance sneakers that are all terrain! It's a compromise! I still can't believe that I will be hiking... for those who remember- I brought a blow dryer on my first camping trip! HAHAH good times!

I also need a camera case for my WICKED underwater camera! Expect some wicked pics! Also thanks to the Semi Annual Sale at Victoria's Secret (It's wicked people come check it out!!!! ) I got a cute side pouch purse thing.... I don't know what it's called but it will hold stuff!

I also spent $100 on sunblock! NO WAY in hell am I getting GVHD. I like Bennedict (my bone marrow) and I will not allow the sun to force my body into rejecting him!

So the trip is shaping up nicely! I CAN't wait to get some pictures up and to just go!
